Get Involved

As we look ahead, we strongly encourage members to become more actively involved in shaping the future of the Adelphotis. Below are several opportunities where your time, talents, and support are needed for the continued success of our organization. Below is the “Call to Action” form, and we encourage you to complete it to indicate how you would like to get involved.  

The Call to Action includes:

  • Serve on the Board of Directors

  • Join the Centennial Album Committee 

    • This committee is responsible for the creation of the Adelphotis Centennial Album, a lasting keepsake celebrating 100 years of our organization, its families, history, and legacy. Members may assist with planning, coordination, outreach, and creative development of the album. If you are interested in the Centennial Album Committee, please list any skills, experience, or talents you can contribute (for example: archival collection, photography, writing, editing, graphic design, research, organization, or outreach)

  • Join the Church Committee 

    • This committee supports matters related to the upkeep of our Panagia Chapel and preparing items for celebrations, various liturgies, and annual Adelphotis events. Currently we have four ladies involved and they are looking for additional support.

  • Join the Bylaws Committee

    • This committee focuses on reviewing, evaluating, and proposing updates to the Adelphotis by-laws to ensure they remain clear, current, and reflective of the organization’s needs, governance, and long-term vision. They were last updated in 1992 and we are looking forward to bringing proposed Bylaw updates to an upcoming General Assembly.

Each of these roles plays an important part in the continued growth and success of the Adelphotis, and additional details outlining what each position entails can be found above. We would love to see broad participation from our entire membership, including Arahovites from all locations, age groups, and backgrounds, as we work together to strengthen and move the organization forward.

This form allows members to indicate how they would like to contribute their time, skills, and talents in support of our organization and its ongoing initiatives.
